【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesatestmethodandtheminimumrequirementsformycobactericidalortuberculocidalactivityofchemicaldisinfectantproductsthatformahomogeneous,physicallystablepreparationwhendilutedwithhardwater,or–inthecaseofready-to-useproducts–withwater.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoproductsthatareusedinthemedicalareafordisinfectinginstrumentsbyimmersion–eveniftheyarenotcoveredbytheEEC/93/42DirectiveonMedicalDevices.ThisEuropeanStandardappliestoareasandsituationswheredisinfectionismedicallyindicated.Suchindicationsoccurinpatientcare,forexample:?inhospitals,incommunitymedicalfacilitiesandindentalinstitutions;?inclinicsofschools,kindergartensandnursinghomes;andmayoccurintheworkplaceandinthehome.Itmayalsoincludeservicessuchaslaundriesandkitchenssupplyingproductsdirectlyforthepatients.EN14885specifiesindetailtherelationshipofthevariousteststooneanotherandto"userecommendations".
