【摘要】:IRMsarevitallyimportantinproductandspecificationtesting,inresearchanddevelopmentwork,intechnicalservicework,andinqualitycontroloperationsintherubberandcarbonblackindustries.Theyareespeciallyvaluableforrefereepurposes.ManyASTMrubberstandardsfortheevaluationofnaturalorsyntheticrubberrequiretheuseofspecificIRMsintheirtestrecipesforbetterlaboratoryrepeatabilityandreproducibility.NewmateriallotsthathavebeenselectedascandidatesforIRMapprovalshallconformtotheappropriatespecificationsgiveninthisstandardandmeetrequirementsgiveninPracticeD4678beforethelotsmaybeacceptedasIRMs.ThechemicalandphysicalIRMspecificationsshownwillensuresomeconsistencyinIRMpropertiesfromonelottothenext.However,thespecificationscannotensureexactinter-lotconsistency.1.1Thisspecificationcoverscertainrequirementsfornitrilerubberglovesusedinconductingmedicalexaminationsanddiagnosticandtherapeuticprocedures.1.2Thisspecificationcoversnitrilerubberexaminationglovesthatfiteitherhand,pairedgloves,andglovesbysize.Italsoprovidesforpackagedsterileornonsterileorbulknonsterilenitrilerubberexaminationgloves.1.3ThisspecificationissimilartothatofSpecificationD3578forrubberexaminationgloves.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.
