【摘要】:Inindustrialcontrolsystems,severaltypesoffielddevicesmaybeconnectedtocontrolnetworks.Theseincludedrives,sensorsandactuators,programmablecontrollers,distributedcontrolsystems,andhuman-machineinterfacedevices.Theprocesscontroldataandthestatedataaretransferredamongthesefielddevicesinthesystem,andthecommunicationsbetweenthesefielddevicesrequiressimplicityinapplicationprogrammingtobeexecutedwithadequateresponsetime.Inmostindustrialautomationsystems,thecontrolnetworkisrequiredtoprovidetime-deterministicandpredictableresponsecapabilityforapplications.Plantproductionmaybecompromisedduetoerrorsthatcouldbeintroducedintothecontrolsystemifthenetworkdoesnotprovideatime-deterministicresponse.Therefore,thefollowingcharacteristicsarerequiredforareal-timeEthernet-basedcontrolnetwork:a)atime-deterministicresponsetimebetweenthecontroldevices;b)theabilitytoshareprocessdataseamlesslyacrossthecontrolsystem.RAPIEnetisapplicabletosuchanindustrialautomationenvironmentinwhichtimedeterministicreal-timecommunicationsareafundamentalrequirement.ThisPASspecifiestheprotocolsetnecessaryforRAPIEnet,specificallyforthedatalinklayerandtheapplicationlayer,whichismappedontopofthedatalinklayer,toexploittheservicesinaccordancewiththethree-layerfieldbusreferencemodel,whichisbasedinpartontheOSIBasicReferenceModel.Bothreferencemodelssubdividetheareaofstandardizationforinterconnectionintoaseriesoflayersofmanageablesize.ThroughoutthisPAS,theterm"service"referstotheabstractcapabilityprovidedbyonelayeroftheOSIBasicReferencemodeltothelayerimmediatelyabove.ThisPASconsistsofa)physicallayerspecification;b)datalinklayerservicedefinitions;c)datalinklayerprotocolspecification;d)applicationlayerservicedefinitions;e)applicationlayerprotocolspecification.TheserviceofboththedatalinkandtheapplicationlayerinthisPASisaconceptualarchitecturalservice,independentofadministrativeandimplementationdetails.ThedatalinklayerdescribestheextensionoftheISO/IEC8802-3datalinklayerforRAPIEnet,andtheapplicationlayerdescribestheutilizationoftheupperlayerfunctionsovertheRAPIEnetdatalinklayerprotocol.
