【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthecompositionandphysicalpropertiesofexpandedperliteloosefillinsulation.Thespecificationalsoincludesthetestingproceduresbywhichtheacceptabilityofthematerialisdetermined.Thesetestingproceduresdealprimarilywithmaterialperformanceinthetemperaturerangeassociatedwiththethermalenvelopeofbuildings;however,thecommerciallyusabletemperaturerangeforthisinsulationisfrom459to1400F(1to1033K).Forspecializedapplications,refertothemanufacturer''sinstructions.1.2Thespecificationalsocoversthecompositionandpropertiesofperlitethathasbeensurface-treatedtoproducedustsuppressionforinstallationswheredustisafactor.1.3Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.4Whentheinstallationoruseofthermalinsulationmaterials,accessoriesandsystems,mayposesafetyorhealthproblems,themanufacturershallprovidetheuserappropriatecurrentinformationregardinganyknownproblemsassociatedwiththerecommendeduseofthecompany''sproducts,andshallalsorecommendprotectivemeasurestobeemployedintheirsafeutilization.TheusershallestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouseForadditionalprecautionarystatements,seeSection12.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
