【摘要】:ThisInternationalstandarddescribesastandardizedmethodforthedeterminationoftheaverageviscometricdegreeofpolymerization(DPν)ofnewandagedcellulosicelectricallyinsulatingmaterials.Itmaybeappliedtoallcellulosicinsulatingmaterialssuchasthoseusedintransformer,cableorcapacitormanufacturing.Themethodsdescribedcanalsobeusedforthedeterminationoftheintrinsicviscosityofsolutionsofchemicallymodifiedkraftpapers,providedthatthesedissolvecompletelyintheselectedsolvent.Cautionshouldbetakenifthemethodisappliedtoloadedkraftpapers.NOTEWithinasampleofmaterial,allthecellulosemoleculesdonothavethesamedegreeofpolymerizationsothatthemeanvaluemeasuredbyviscometricmethodsisnotnecessarilythesameasthatwhichmaybeobtainedby,forinstance,osmoticorultracentrifugingmethods.
