【摘要】:ThispartofBS1722specifiesrequirementsforthematerials,design,constructionandinstallationofprefabricatedwoodpanelfencesconstructedfromsoftwoodpanelsfixedbetweentimberorconcreteposts.Thisstandarddoesnotcoverfencesofaheightgreaterthan2mabovegroundlevel.Thisstandardincludesrequirementsforprotectivetreatments.However,maintenancerequirementsofthefenceafterinstallationareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Itspecifiesrequirementsforthecomponentsthatmakeupafenceandthewayinwhichthefenceshouldbeconstructed.Thestandardincludesrequirementsforcomponentdimensions,togetherwiththepermissibletolerancesonsize.Theseareminimumrequirementsanditwillnormallybeacceptabletouselargersizes,exceptifthiscouldadverselyaffectthefittingofcomponentsorifreplacementpartsarerequiredtomatchwiththosealreadypresent.
